About Elena

    Namaste!

Welcome and make yourself comfortable! I am happy you are visiting my website. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have lived on Cape Cod since 2002, surrounded by my loving family and friends. I am enjoying long walks on the beach and trails, yoga, nutritious food, and spending time with my family.

I see my life as a journey, exploring and learning on the way. I am a student of life, always filled with curiosity, wonder and passion for the unknown.

Nature has always been a source of wonderment, contemplation, meditation and a way to reconnect to my true self in a simple and profound way. I am in love with the ocean, the sun, the sky, the trees and the fresh air.

I am a licensed massage therapist through the Massage Institute of Cape Cod since 2012. When someone asks me for how long I have been doing massages, I answer with a smile: "Since I was a toddler but I officially got certified in 2012. I used my feet to massage Grandpa's back after his long day out in the yard. Later I used my hands to massage my aunt's sore neck and shoulders every time I went to see her (and it  was pretty often).  I delightfully listened and happily accepted her warm thanks and home baked goodies in return. The source of healing is within us, our breath, and our mind. We just need some helping hands, or feet :-), that's all! It is important to set the time and space for the healing to occur, yes. A comfortable, safe place to relax, and unplug - this is what I tried to create for you in my studio, come and enjoy!

I am a certified yoga teacher through the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago since 2008. I have been guided to enter the Kriya yoga Seminary, and I am embracing this gift of teachings with an attitude of gratitude and an intention to serve the community with a loving awareness and compassion. My spiritual studies and practice is also cradled and guided in the Kagyu Lineage of Tibetan Buddhism.

I have been interested in the arts of Ayurveda for two decades now. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunity to be a part of an Ayurvedic counseling course  and receive a certification under the guidance of Dr. David Frawley. My intention is to interweave the wisdom of this ancient healing practice and offer guidance to clients interested in supporting their health through the power of a life style connected to their unique nature.
